Visible

Used to set visibility of selected nodes.

Accessed from:

  • Ribbon: Computational Design > Home > GC Attributes > Visible
  • Menu (Graph view node) - right-click > Visible
  • Toolbox - Node View Settings

Selecting the node in the view turns it invisible and the node geometry of the node in the Graph turns gray.

The tool toggles the node's Visibility property to "Visible". Meaning, this node (particularly its geometry, if any) will always be visible, independent from any downstream node's AutoHideInputs property setting.
Tip: The Visibility property value is set to Automatic by default. Selecting the Visible tool from the ribbon (clicking the icon), toggles the visibility (Visible) property. If you want to change the Visibility property value back to Automatic Visibility, you must select (Auto) or Rt-click > Automatic Visibility from the Graph view node.
